Cookie Policy
1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember your preferences and understand how you interact with it.
2. Cookies We Use
Essential Cookies
These cookies are required for CampaignStack to function. They handle authentication, session management, and security. You cannot opt out of essential cookies.
- Authentication token: Keeps you signed in across pages and browser sessions
- CSRF protection: Prevents cross-site request forgery attacks
Analytics Cookies
With your consent, we use PostHog to collect anonymous usage data such as page views and feature interactions. This helps us understand how CampaignStack is used and where to improve.
- PostHog session ID: Identifies your browsing session so we can aggregate page views and feature usage. No personal data is attached.
Error Tracking Cookies
With your consent, we use Sentry to capture application errors and crashes. This helps us identify and fix bugs faster. Sentry collects technical data about errors (stack traces, browser version, OS) but no personal data.
You can opt out of analytics and error tracking cookies at any time by clearing your browser's local storage (which resets the cookie consent banner) or by using your browser's cookie settings.
Preference Cookies
These cookies remember your settings so you don't have to re-enter them on each visit.
- Theme preference: Stores your light/dark mode choice
3. Third-Party Cookies
CampaignStack uses PostHog for privacy-friendly analytics and Sentry for error tracking. PostHog may set cookies to track sessions. Sentry may store data in local storage to track error sessions. We do not serve ads and do not share cookie data with advertisers.
4. Managing Cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. Note that blocking essential cookies will prevent you from using CampaignStack.
Common browser cookie settings:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Cookies
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and Site Permissions
5. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy if we introduce new cookie categories (e.g., analytics). Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users.
